New Perspectives: Our Multidisciplinary Approach to Project Development

This presentation will outline the process one group took to explore, develop, and incorporate a multidisciplinary approach to their improvement project

Stacy L. Serber

Dr. Stacy Serber has been a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Stanford since 2016, starting on medicine units, and transitioning to the Neurosurgery/Neurology/Stroke/Epilepsy service lines in 2019. Stacy received her PhD in Nursing from UCLA in 2007. Her doctoral dissertation focused on cerebral blood flow velocity, grey matter injury, cognition, and vasomotor reactivity in heart failure patients. She received her Master’s degree from UCLA in 1994 as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. Dr. Serber has held numerous positions throughout her 35 years in nursing, including Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Research Coordinator, and Clinical Educator, along with 16 years of burn, surgical, and neuro/trauma ICU clinical practice.

Lauren Fulton

I am a Creative Director and Designer with 10 years of experience. My true passion lies in helping small to medium size brands discover who they are, and how they can make an impact through design.

I work across a spectrum of mediums including UX design, web design, branding, packaging, and photography/illustration art direction. I work with start-ups and medium-sized brands from fashion to blockchain and beyond.
