COURSES
Stanford Department of Pediatrics Quality Improvement and Leadership Training (QuILT) Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This course is for individuals who have been trained in improvement science and are interested in becoming improvement leaders capable of driving change in complex healthcare systems.
The Stanford QuILT program is a 10-month QI and Leadership training program, running from January through October, designed specifically for pediatric faculty and fellows. Predominantly remote with select in-person sessions, this program equips participants with the tools and skills to lead impactful quality improvement (QI) initiatives in healthcare by incorporating QI and leadership skills.
Using A3 Thinking as the primary quality improvement paradigm, QuILT helps participants tackle challenges like organizational change, team dynamics, and stakeholder engagement. The goal of the program is to empower pediatricians to enhance patient care quality at their sites and drive sustainable change. The program features interactive sessions, personalized coaching, and peer collaboration, with participants applying lessons to their own QI projects.
A call for applications for each year's cohort occurs in November.
